The Bunny Room is for little hoppers 37-45 months old. Bunny continue to improve fine motor skills through a variety of art and sensory activities. They are increasing knowledge of their environment through daily circle time covering calendar, weather, and other topics. This classroom introduces child classroom job assignments and helper roles, building personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.

Teachers led story time builds on letter recognition and introduces letter sounds. Bunny favorites include Elephant and Piggy and Pete the Cat books. Bunnies are always excited for weekly “Show and Share” where children bring in a toy or interesting item from home to encourage presenting to the class and sharing behaviors.

The Bunnies spend plenty of time playing outside running, jumping, swinging and climbing further developing gross motor skills. The class often takes advantage of our pavilion and picnic tables to enjoy snack time outdoors
